Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th February was 'Wolverhampton Literature Festival'. It was a fun-filled weekend where the Arts and Culture was celebrated with over 60 events taking place across the three days.
I am proud to share that I was asked to perform my work on two of these days and was gratefully accepted, to which I was able to share some of my work from my latest book, coming out in March 2024. The book is entitled 'After Trauma' and it is a compilation of poetry looking at trauma, healing and inspiration.
Additionally, I was asked to write and perform some poetry with Walsall Writers Circle about 'The Black Country and our perceptions of home. I delivered an emotional piece on what home means to me and how blessed I am to be born and raised in the Black Country. I finished the session with a piece about being home with family.
